Indian Burial Ground

I saw this sign as I was driving along a back road on Cape Cod, and I can never pass up an ancient burial ground of any kind.  This was an ancient Indian burial ground; the Nobscussett Tribe. It was beautiful.  People come and leave all kinds of momentous.

It is very overgrown; you have to walk down this little pathway to reach it.

People had left all kinds of things there.

My friend and I decided to leave our own offering, so we made a make-shift medicine wheel out of sticks and feathers we found on the ground.  Then, we hung it in a tree.  I think we did a pretty good job!
